Office Wardrobe Essentials-Blazers

Club Monaco-Cobalt Blue Blazer-2

My rule of thumb for work outfits: you can't go wrong with a blazer. My workplace dress code: business casual, anything goes as long as it's not jeans. Jeans are only acceptable on Fridays.

Obviously, I couldn't visit the hobbit hole and not do an OOTD post!

Is it just me or does anyone else go through this? I tend to start of the work week with  strong professional outfits. Pencil skirts, blouses, and heels. By mid-week, I'm start becoming a little lazy and I start drifting to more causal outfits.  My go to piece at that point is a blazer.  To me, a blazer can instantly bring your outfit from being too casual to completely work appropriate. Plus it's a great layering piece.

This cobalt blue blazer adds the perfect pop of color. I have been loving this color combination as the temperature started to dip.

My go to shoes on days that involve a lot of walking are any flats from Pretty Ballerina especially the Rosario ones. My everyday bag tends to be any satchel type bag; I have been using my Dooney&Bourke all summer long.

I'll let you guys in on a secret, my bottoms are completely denim. But these are AG jeans are made of Japanese denim i.e they're super soft. So if any one asks if I'm wearing jeans, I always say no, you don't believe me feel them.

  1. That blazer is such a good fit. I love blazers but it's hard to find one that fits me perfectly. && The Hobbit Hole is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit now. It is so cute just like in the movies.

    1. I know what you mean. The fit of blazers is like a pair of jeans. You have to keep trying until you land on one that fits your body type. Can you believe that the hobbit hole was completely done by city workers who volunteered their time. It's so cute
